International Fellowships

American India Foundation (AIF)-William J. Clinton Fellowship for Service in India (India)10 month fellowship in leading Indian NGOs that provides development training in education, livelihoods, public health and social enterprises.

The American-Scandinavian Foundation (ASF) (Scandinavian countries)
ASF offers fellowships (up to $23,000) and grants (up to $5,000) to individuals to pursue research, study or creative arts projects in one or more Scandinavian country for up to one year.

Ashoka Social Entrepreneurship Fellows (worldwide)
Ashoka Fellows are leading social entrepreneurs who design innovative solutions to address and eliminate social problems. Fellows can work in one of the following categories: civic engagement, economic development, environment, health, human rights and learning/education.

Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals- CBYX (Germany)The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX) is a fellowship funded by the German Bundestag and U.S. Congress, that annually provides 75 American and 75 German young professionals the opportunity to spend one year in each other's' countries, studying, interning, and living with hosts on a cultural immersion program.

Critical Language Scholarship Program (Worldwide)
The Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program is a fully-funded overseas language and cultural immersion program for American undergraduate and graduate students. Students study and master "critical languages," while fostering relationships between the U.S. and other countries.

Global Health Corps (Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Malawi, Zambia)Global Health Corps provides a yearlong paid fellowship for young professionals from diverse backgrounds to work on the frontlines of the fight for global health equity at existing health organizations and government agencies.

Humanity in Action (Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland)
This educational international organization brings together international groups of university students and recent graduates to explore national histories of discrimination and resistance, as well as examples of issues affecting different minority groups today. Through lectures, discussions and excursions fellows will explore the social and political roots of discrimination.

Peace Corps
An organization of the U.S. government that sends volunteers all over the world to work at the grassroots level in sectors such as education, health, youth development, community economic development, environment and agriculture.

Princeton-in-Africa (multiple countries in Africa)
Yearlong fellowships offered in variety of fields including education and youth, agriculture, public health and the environment.

Princeton-in-Asia (multiple countries in Asia)
PIA arranges full year fellowships and internships in the fields of education, health, international development, environmental advocacy, journalism, engineering, technology, law and business in over 20 countries in Asia.

Princeton-in-Latin America (PILA) (multiple countries in Latin America)
PILA offers yearlong fellowships for recent college graduates in NGOs and government and multilateral organizations throughout countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Volunteer/Faith Based International Programs

Francis Corps (Costa Rica)
Francis Corps volunteers share their gifts and talents in a year-long, faith based community experience.

JDC Jewish Service Corps (Argentina, India, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Poland, Estonia, Serbia, Israel, and Rwanda)JDC offers service opportunities for young Jewish adults who want to make an impact in overseas Jewish communities around the world in non-sectarian development work. Service programs work to meet real, pressing needs through intensive participation in JDC initiatives and peer-to-peer education.

Jesuit Volunteer Corps (Belize, Chile, Micronesia, Nicaragua, Peru, Tanzania)
1 to 2 year service assignments that are based on four core values: spirituality, simple living, community and social justice.

Mercy Corps (Guyana)
Mercy corps volunteers enter into a relationship with people who are economically poor and marginalized. Volunteers cultivate mercy and justice by embracing compassionate service, social just, spirituality and a simple lifestyle. Placements can occur in one of Guyana's vocational centers, hospitals, or orphanages.

English Program in Korea (EPIK) (South Korea)Explore the opportunity to teach in South Korean, government run schools

Teaching Assistant Program in FranceWork in France for 7 months teaching French students of all ages.

HAEF Teaching Fellowship (Greece)Twelve Fellowships are awarded to recent graduates from universities in the U.S. Fellows, who serve as young ambassadors, are expected to work with Greek students of all ages in both schools and summer camps.

Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) ProgramThrough the Japanese government, participants can spend a year working as an assistant language teacher, sports exchange advisor or coordinator for international relations across Japan.

Ministry of Education of Spain Language and Culture Assistants Work as a language assistant for 9-10 months with Spanish students of all ages in various regions throughout Spain.

Teach and Learn in Korea (TALK)Through the South Korean Ministry of Education, participants can work as a language assistant in rural, elementary schools during after school hours.
