Planning a Visit

A visit to the campus can provide you with a personal experience that helps you better assess the educational environment at Goucher and its suitability to you and your interests. Personalized campus visits, scheduled in advance, may include a tour, class visits, and meetings with members of the community such as students, faculty, athletic coaches, and staff. Additionally, open house programs are scheduled in the fall, and tours are available on selected Saturdays.

If you would like to visit Goucher, please call the main Admissions number at 410-337-6101 or 1-800- GOUCHER ext. 6101 and speak with one of our receptionists. She will be happy to arrange your visit by telephone. For your travel to and from Goucher,  you can visit our Travel Portal and book your own plans online.  To get oriented before your arrival, take a look at our campus map (PDF).

A reminder to our visiting guests, campus tours and information sessions can be scheduled up to one day in advance.  Interviews must also be scheduled in advance, and are available on a first-ask, first-served basis.  Class visits, overnight stays and professor meetings require two weeks' advance notice. What can I do when I visit campus?

Please call ahead of time (1-800-GOUCHER x6100 or 410-337-6100) to verify that these options will be available on the day you want to visit.

• Weekdays during fall and spring academic semesters - 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
• Selected Saturdays during Fall and Spring academic semesters - 11:00 a.m.

Sit in on a group information session:

• Throughout the year on weekdays - 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
• Selected Saturdays during Fall and Spring academic semesters - 10:00 a.m. .

• Throughout the year on weekdays - 9:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.  

We offer class visits during the fall and spring academic semesters only, and you must ask at least two weeks in advance.

We offer single overnight stays with Goucher Student Ambassadors during the fall and spring academic semesters only. You must arrange overnight stays at least two weeks in advance.
