Facilities

Space is the first thing you need to create your art and hone your craft as a dancer, and Goucher has plenty of it. Three wide-open dance studios and two additional studio spaces provide more than ample room for daily classes in technique, rehearsals, and composition classes. Our fall and spring main-stage performances are held in Kraushaar Auditorium, a 1,000-seat theatre. For smaller performances we have the Todd Dance Studio Theater, seating 125. The Sports and Recreation Center, adjacent to the studios, rounds out the facilities with an indoor pool, weight room, aerobic dance studio, sauna, racquetball courts, and a wellness lab.
