Early-Immersion Programs

At Goucher, we understand that college-bound students are anxious and excited and that the transition from high school to college can seem overwhelming.  With that in mind, we've implemented several early-immersion programs.  These optional experiences, which take place just prior to Fall Orientation, help students find the niche that will make them happy, comfortable, and, in turn, successful.

While all of the programs will introduce students to other members of the first-year class, each has its own unique focus.

• FOSTER: Fostering Opportunities for Shared Togetherness, Engagement and Reflection
• LEAP: Leadership Experience Adventure Program
• SERVE: Students Engaged in Responsible Volunteer Experiences
