About the Exhibit
In this solo exhibition, Dulce Pinzón uses photography to document what she says are the perfect examples of a hero who has gone unnoticed.
This exhibit features images of Mexican immigrants dressed in the costumes of popular superheroes. Immigrant workers in New York City commonly work extraordinary hours in extreme conditions for low wages. They send their earnings to families and communities in Mexico that rely on them for survival.
