COVID-19 Updates

We are reinstating our masking policy for INDOORS only. Beginning at 12pm (noon) on Wednesday, April 27, we will require all faculty, staff, students, and outside guests to wear N-95, KN95, or KF94 face masks while indoors.

The Goucher College COVID-19 Taskforce remains committed to providing updates, recommendations and announcements of required protocols to the community to limit the spread of Covid-19 on campus. Therefore, you must remain diligent about checking your email.

At this time, we are leaving our mask optional policy in place. However, we’ve recently seen a slight uptick in the local positivity rate to 2.5%, and while still very low, we don’t want to lose ground after making so much progress this past year.

The COVID Task Force met earlier this week to assess the status of the COVID-19 pandemic on campus, in Baltimore County, and the State of Maryland, and discuss any changes to the College's current masking policies.

As the positivity rates continue to decline in Baltimore County and Baltimore City, we also continue to review and revise our policies. Your efforts to keep our community healthy allow us to roll back some restrictions.
