Campus Use & Visitor Guidelines

Dear Goucher community,

As Goucher welcomes a limited number of students, faculty, and staff back to campus for the fall semester, we wanted to share the Campus Use and Visitor Guidelines. These guidelines have been created with the health and safety of our entire community in mind. As a reminder, in addition to these additional guidelines, anyone on campus will continue to be required to wear a face-covering and maintain physical distance.

Only those students, faculty, or staff who have been pre-approved will have access to campus. Everyone will be stopped at the front gatehouse 24 hours a day, and required to show a Goucher OneCard. Each time someone enters campus, they will be required to answer a short list of questions regarding health and possible exposure to COVID-19.

A select number of buildings will be open on campus for those students, faculty, and staff pre-approved to be on campus. These include the Ungar Athenaeum, Goucher Library, and Mary Fisher Dining Hall. The Sports and Recreation Center (SRC) as well as additional buildings will be closed for general use.

Additionally, for those faculty and staff pre-approved to be on campus, personal safety/cleaning kits are now available for pick-up in the Post Office. FMS will deliver cleaning kits to each department, and the Office of Residence Life will provide kits to students approved to live on campus. These kits are meant to be used on campus only.

The complete Campus Use and Visitor Guidelines outlines the specific guidelines for students, faculty, and staff, as well as visitor and guest policies. We will continue to monitor local COVID-19 cases and will revisit these guidelines as necessary.

Be well.
