Health & Safety Reminders and Reporting for Students
Dear Goucher community,
As we continue our efforts to help keep our Goucher community healthy and safe, we would like to thank everyone for adhering to best practices during the cold and flu season.
Most importantly, if you are feeling ill or experiencing any flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms, please refrain from coming to campus or going to class. Instead, if you develop symptoms, immediately contact nurse@goucher.edu and if you test positive for COVID-19, indicate your status on the Report an Illness website so that the Student Health Center can follow up with you and so your faculty can be notified.
Another important way to help prevent the spread of viruses like the flu, RSV, and SARS-CoV-2 to others, is to wear a mask on campus, especially an N-95, KN95, or KF94 face mask because they provide better protection than other masks.
As a reminder, for those who have not yet received the most recent vaccine shots, the deadline for all students to provide proof of their flu vaccination is November 7, 2022. If you do not upload proof of your flu vaccine by the deadline, a hold is placed on your account, and you will not be able to register for classes for the Spring 2023 term.
We encourage you to adhere to these health and safety measures as we all work together to keep our community safe.
Take care and be well.
