Reserve CREI Spaces
The Center for Race, Equity, and Identity is available for reservations. Reservations will not be accepted between 8:45 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. CREI is strictly for study and informal community gathering during these times.
In order to uphold the mission of the center and the intent of CREI, priority will be given to those group, organizations, departments, and events which affirm the purpose CREI:
- A sense of place and comfort designed for the academic success, social success, retention, and celebration of underrepresented and/or marginalized students at Goucher;
- Opportunities for scholarship, research, and faculty enrichment in the areas of race, culture, ethnicity, nationality, class, gender, and sexuality across all disciplines;
- Improve campus relations by generating a wealth of lectures, dialogues, and exhibits that are useful in educating the campus community; and
- Events must be inclusive, meaning: engaging and supportive of those communities the center was designed to serve.
Student organizations at Goucher are always welcome to reserve the center. Goucher departments may reserve the spaces for events that uphold the mission of the center. Individual, private events are rarely allowed and will be approved at the discretion of the CREI professional staff.
