About our training site: The Goucher College Student Counseling Center offers training opportunities for doctoral and masters students enrolled in clinical or counseling psychology programs. Trainees are well integrated into our team, and work alongside staff to provide mental health services to our campus community, gaining experience in screening, triage, intake, psychodiagnostic assessment, individual counseling, group therapy, crisis intervention, and campus outreach. Over the course of the externship, trainee development is supported by individual supervision, group supervision, didactic seminars, case consultation meetings, and curbside consults in our open-door culture.
