Mike Capuzzo (2011)
M.F.A. in Creative Nonfiction
"I am accustomed to working with top editors at Random House and Penguin in New York City, and now in Baltimore I had their equal, and often their better, at my side. I was surrounded by talented writers, ages 23 to 63, in a mutually supportive atmosphere that allowed us to fully develop our talents, and to generously teach and learn from each other regardless of age and experience while building lifelong bonds.”
Mike Capuzzo is the author of six books, most recently New York Times bestseller The Murder Room: The Heirs of Sherlock Holmes Gather to Solve the World's Most Perplexing Cold Cases (Gotham, 2010). His pieces have appeared in Esquire, Sports Illustrated, and Life. He is a former feature writer for the Miami Herald and the Philadelphia Inquirer, and currently edits Mountain Home with his wife Teresa Capuzzo.
