Dr. Grayman-Simpson Wins a Teaching Resource Prize
Dr. Nyasha Grayman-Simpson, Associate Professors of Psychology here at Goucher, was recently awarded the Teaching Resource Prize from The Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI) for her Black Psychology course syllabus.
The Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI) offers an award for teaching resources to reward innovative activities, assignments, and projects related to the psychological study of social issues. Five prizes of $50 are awarded to those who have developed novel resources that advance students’ understanding of social issues and can be used in a variety of settings (e.g., in traditional classrooms/online, small or large groups).
