Dr. Friedman-Wheeler Publishes an Article About Mentored Research Teams
Associate Professor of Psychology Dr. Dara Friedman-Wheeler recently published the article, "The Undergraduate Researcher: Why, When, and How to Collaborate with Your Students," in the September 2016 volume of The Behavior Therapist.
The article explores the benefits and potential challenges of mentoring undergraduate
research, in addition to discussing possible techniques for organization and recruitment
of a research team. This piece was co-authored by Jerusha B. Detweiler-Bedell (Lewis
& Clark College) and Jamie S. Bodenlos (Hobart and William Smith Colleges)
The Goucher Psychology program is especially proud of our mentorship of students in
research teams. With this piece, Dr. Friedman-Wheeler is contributing to the national
conversation on undergraduate research.
