Big Read Panel Rescheduled for April 2

The Earthsea Panel Discussion has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 2 from 7pm to 8:30pm in the Batza Room of the Athenaeum.  Three scholars will present varying perspectives on A Wizard of Earthsea, a young-adult fantasy novel sometimes compared to The Lord of the Rings and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.   Panelists include Juliette Wells, Ph.D., Associate Professor of English and Rodney Yoder, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Physics, Goucher College, and Jonathan Mattanah, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Psychology, Towson University. This event is being held in coordination with Towson University and the Big Read project by the National Endowment for the Arts.
