Welcome Back!

As we kick off another school year, the library wants to welcome back returning students, and say "hello and welcome" to new Gophers!

New students, be sure to look for us and pick up a bag of library goodies at New-Student Check-In on August 24th in the Dorsey Center. In your time here, you'll be spending a lot of time in the library so get to know us and all the resources available, from research help to watching free movies from our databases, and everything in between!

Whether you are new or returning, there are some new things to check out in the library starting this semester:

• A new lego free-play session. Watch for news on the library's legos! This is a pilot program at this point, but we'll be announcing free-play sessions starting this Fall. It's a great opportunity to wind down and play with some legos between study sessions.
• Special Collections and Archives will be unveiling a new exhibit on book art on August 23rd - check it out on the Athenaeum 4th floor when you are back on campus!
• This October a bust of founder Dr. John Franklin Goucher is coming to the Athenaeum. Watch for news on the dedication ceremony, and come learn more about this history of our college founder.
