With the election less than six weeks away, opportunities for civic and voter engagement abound on Goucher’s campus—through courses, events, and grants to support those efforts.

Goucher College student voting higher than national average

Associate Professor Nina Kasniunas took her J-term class to New Hampshire so they could learn hands-on about the democratic process leading up to the primary election.

Goucher College was honored for its student voter engagement at the 2019 ALL IN Challenge Awards Ceremony, which recognizes colleges and universities committed to increasing college student voting rates.

Goucher students are diving into the political process this semester. Six Goucher students will present their senior theses at the Midwest Political Science Association in Chicago. Additionally, five students will attend the Model Senate at Stetson University in Florida, and 16 Goucher students attended the Model UN at Harvard.
