Eliza Cornejo, executive director of the Goucher Prison Education Partnership (GPEP), has been included on the Baltimore Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list.
Cornejo became GPEP’s executive director earlier this year after a nationwide search. She has more than seven years of experience with GPEP and has supported GPEP staff in providing a sustainable, rigorous education and has worked closely with former students upon release as they navigate job and school applications. GPEP provides men and women incarcerated in Maryland with the opportunity to pursue an excellent college education.
