Goucher College names Kristin Schab alumnae/i engagement executive director

Goucher College announces that Kristin Schab has been named executive director of the Office of Alumnae/i Engagement. Schab will lead efforts to champion Goucher’s 24,000-plus alumni and engage them in the life of the college. 

Schab brings nearly 19 years of development and leadership experience in the higher education and nonprofit sector. She is the former director for the Office of Alumni Engagement at York College of Pennsylvania and, most recently, Millersville University. She developed and managed comprehensive alumni engagement programs for a combined total of 111,000 alumni at both institutions. Over the course of her career, she has also helped nonprofits of all sizes develop profitable fundraising strategies and elevate their leaders, staff, and board members. 

In her new role, she will oversee the alumnae/i staff and alumnae/i programming, work with the AAGC and alumnae/i nationwide, and collaborate with campus partners to create meaningful opportunities for alumnae/i to connect with Goucher.

Schab is a proud 2004 graduate of York College, earning her bachelor’s degree in public relations. She is a graduate of the Leadership York Training Program, Class of 2022, and currently serves as a board member for two nonprofit organizations in her community.

Schab is married and has three young daughters and two rescue dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, reading books, and spending time with family and friends.
