Tuition & Fees for the 2025-2026 Academic Year
Dear Goucher College students and families,
I hope this letter finds you happy and healthy in the New Year.
Today, I am writing to inform you of Goucher College's tuition, fees, housing, and food costs for the upcoming 2025-26 academic year that were recently approved by the Goucher College Board of Trustees. Here’s a more detailed breakdown of next year’s tuition and fee schedule and how it compares to the current academic year:
Current Academic Year (2024-2025) | Next Academic Year (2025-2026) | |
---|---|---|
Tuition and Fees | $53,350 | $55,300 |
Housing and Food * | $17,190 | $17,700 |
Total | $70,540 | $73,000 |
* Based on a double room in the First-Year Village and a 19 meals per week dining plan including $250 dining dollars.
While we recognize that no increase is ever welcomed, this modest increase remains in line with the recent rise in inflation we have all seen this past year. At Goucher, this affects everything from food to utilities to faculty and staff salaries. Furthermore, Goucher College remains committed to ensuring that our top-quality, liberal arts education remains within the reach of our students with generous financial aid and scholarship awards.
We believe that a Goucher education continues to be a strong investment for our students in their futures. Goucher students graduate with the tools they need to chart their own path after graduation, whether that’s continuing their education in graduate school or entering the workforce in their chosen field.
At Goucher, we are committed to inspiring global changemakers, delivering academic excellence, and an innovative education, all within a close-knit community. We are happy that you chose Goucher College and are dedicated to ensuring that our students get the most out of their Goucher experience while they are here.
Last year, we introduced new majors in public health and neuroscience and launched a new partnership in nursing with Notre Dame University of Maryland. This year, as we celebrate our 140th anniversary, we look forward to the groundbreaking for our new Lewent Science Center, and the completion of our $100 million UNDAUNTED campaign. These initiatives will offer Goucher students innovative, modern ways to learn, both inside and outside the classroom. We were also fortunate to recently receive a grant from the State of Maryland to invest in additional security measures, all with the goal of fostering a safer and more inclusive campus.
