Share Your News & Class Notes
Goucher alumnae/i continue to make us proud in their personal and professional lives. Please share your news so we can show our Gopher pride. All submissions will be considered for publication in various Goucher media channels, including social media.
If you are submitting your news for inclusion in the class notes section of the Goucher Magazine, please know that each class is given a maximum of 500 words. We recognize this may mean cutting down submissions or excluding submissions at the discretion of the editorial staff. We regret that we cannot include all the news and notes we receive.
Please submit your note to your Class Notes Representative unless there is not one for your class. Do not submit your news to both your Class Notes Representative and the Share Your News form, as we will send along any submissions we receive here to the Class Notes Rep for inclusion in the next magazine issue.
Class Notes Guidelines
Goucher Magazine is printed twice annually in June and December. Class Notes highlights news and accomplishments from alumnae and alumni, and is not put online.
Submitting Class Notes
You may submit your class note two ways:
- Contact your class notes representative via phone or email.
- If a representative is not listed, use this form to send your information directly to Goucher.
Note: Please do not submit to both your Class Notes representative and the Share Your News form.
Word Limit
Each class is given a maximum limit of 500 words. We recognize this may mean cutting down submissions or excluding submissions at the discretion of the editorial staff. We regret that we cannot include all the news and notes we receive.
Deadlines
Summer issue: Please submit all notes online or to the Class Notes rep by March 15.
Winter issue: Please submit all notes online or to the Class Notes rep by September 15.
Any news received through the form after the deadline may be used as a news item on the alumnae/i news webpage or shared with fellow alumnae/i on social media.
Obituaries
Goucher Magazine will occasionally highlight the passing of a notable alumna/us or faculty or staff member, but we no longer include full obituaries in the magazine. We regret we do not have the space to include this information. However, we will continue to list all alumnae/i, faculty, staff, and emeritae/i who have died since the printing of the previous issue and of whom we have received official notification on the In Memoriam page of the magazine.
Your Class Notes Reps
Thank you to the wonderful class notes representatives, who are the facilitators of your class news! We greatly value and appreciate the work they do to keep you connected to Goucher and with each other!
