ACE Testing Center Policy
The policy as of Sept. 1, 2009 is that faculty will be responsible for the delivery and pick-up of their test to ACE. Tests should be emailed to ace@goucher.edu or dropped off prior to the testing date. Faculty must give their cell phone number and/or immediate contact information so they can be reached during the test to answer questions.
At least 72 business hours prior to the test date, the student must submit a test request via Accommodate’s online portal. Once the test request has been submitted, faculty can approve/deny and make note of acceptable resources to be used during the test.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Your allotted, extended time begins at your scheduled test time. If you arrive late, you will lose part of your extended time.
- Only students with documented accommodations for testing extended time or reduced distraction testing area use the ACE Testing Center. If students have a medical or family emergency, please contact the Office of Accessibility, access@goucher.edu, in conjunction with your Professor, for approval to move the testing date.
- Students will leave all unapproved possessions (cell phones, coats, backpacks, notebooks, extraneous papers) outside of the testing center.
- ACE will notify the faculty member if student does not show up to take his/her test.
- Tests can be scheduled starting at 9:00 a.m. and must be completed by 4:45 p.m.
Note: The Academic Honor Code (PDF) will be in effect.
