GPEP Alumni Urge Business Owners to Become 'Second Chance Employers'

In spring 2022, a group of advocates—including former GPEP students Ramieka Robinson-Peoples and Donte Small—called upon Maryland business leaders to fill the vacant positions caused by the pandemic’s “Great Resignation” by hiring qualified returning citizens, thereby reducing recidivism and the too-common prejudice against the formerly incarcerated.
