Conditional Teacher Certification
The Graduate Programs in Education has been supporting conditionally licensed teachers in finding pathways to full licensure eligibility for decades. We provide a supportive learning environment where full-time teachers can achieve their learning goals while maintaining employment.
If you are a teacher with a Maryland conditional license, Goucher College can help you become certified in one of the following areas:
- Elementary Education (grades 1-6)
- Elementary Special Education (grades 1-6)
- Secondary Education (grades 7-12)
- Secondary Special Education (grades 6-adult)
Content areas for secondary licensure include: Biology, Chemistry, Earth/Space Science, English, History, Mathematics, Physics, and Social Studies.
- Specialty Areas (Pre-K through 12) include: Art, Chinese, Dance, Environmental Education, French, German, Latin, Music, Russian, Spanish, and Theater.
