M.A.A.A. Curriculum
The Master of Arts in Arts Administration curriculum requires a total of 39 credits for graduation. Of these, 31 credits are earned through required courses, 6 credits through elective courses, and an additional 6 credits through the independent study and major paper courses.
On-Campus
Students may be invited to attend a 5-day summer residency during their time in the MA in Arts Administration Program. The summer residency is not held every year.
INFORMATION ABOUT CLASSES
Goucher faculty maintain regular contact with students. Most classes are live online and meet once a week. All classes are held in the evenings. Additionally, students and faculty may hold discussions by email, phone, or by online conference.
Students are always encouraged to reach out at any time to the Goucher faculty as well as the program director with any questions or concerns.
Course in the Fall and Spring Semesters are designed to be completed during the 15-week semester. Summer Semester courses vary in length. The MA in Arts Administration also has a short Winter semester online in January.
Students will be provided with a detailed syllabus and lesson plans for each course.
