MS 0059 World War II Holocaust Survivor Interviews
Dr. Uta Larkey, Associate Professor of Modern Languages, taught a class from 2003 to 2013 titled, Oral Histories of Holocaust Survivors. The class was a community-based learning experience in which students interviewed Holocaust Survivors and then retold the survivors' stories. MS 0064 Vernon C. Goetz World War II Diary and Collection
Vernon Goetz served as First Sergeant in the B Battery of the 549th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Unit of the 87th Division in the U.S. Army during World War II. Goetz maintained a daily diary during his year of active combat duty in England and Europe, from October 1944 to May 1945, in which he recorded his activities, observations, and thoughts as his unit moved across the embattled regions of France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany.
