Timeline

Though you may take additional semesters to complete your manuscript, most NF students graduate in two years. Each year, you have the opportunity to participate in two ten-day residencies at Goucher where you will work intensively with faculty and peers and learn from guest speakers. Here is a sample program timeline and an average time frame for completing the program. The number of credits you take each semester will determine how long it will take to complete the program.

Semester Start Dates:

• Summer 2025: May 27
• Summer Residency: July 18
• Fall 2025: August 25
• Winter 2026: January 2
• Spring 2026: January 26
