"True Vision: The Blessing, Power, and Responsibility of Human Imagination"
Well known for her creativity, exuberance, and tireless promotion of outsider artists, Hoffberger founded the American Museum for Visionary Art (www.avam.org) in 1995, turning a 35,000 square foot warehouse into one of the most talked-about art venues in the country. The museum celebrates the work of self-taught, or visionary, artists through annual themed shows.
