Music & Dance of Jane Austen's Time

Presentation will include: a recreating on an early nineteenth century ball complete with the languages of the fan, gloves and parasol. The dancers on this program are introduced in first-person interpretation in a lecture-demonstration format with audience participation. Dances performed include Waltzes, Cotillions, Reels, Jigs, Strathspeys, Irish Lilts, and Country Dances.
